Double Helix with Aphasiana & Dan Dischino

Like tempered steel glowing red in a bed of coals the poet is born. Our story is riddled
with challenges and changes like blows from a blacksmith's hammer. Bent and
chiseled into shape, if only forging a poet were that easy. Emotional development,
relationships, experiences, environment, and genetics all take a hand in molding the
immature adult we are today. That was a joke, c'mon loosen up a little, we are on the
air!  So welcome to the Double Helix, where we examine the X's and Whys on a show
celebrating the human experience. Where your true colors are what ties the room
together, so get comfortable, cause what you’re about to hear is poetry that we are
